DK and Stevie Cat Jnr hit the studio for Zildjian’s new EFX range 2015

I had the pleasure of recording a drum duet/shed with the amazing Stevie Cat Jnr. Stevie plays drums for Grammy Award winning artist Kimbra. Stevie is fast becoming Australia’s gospel drumming king. His chops are next level and i learnt a lot in the time i spent with him. Going up against a guy who is so good forces you to take your drumming to the next level. A great exercise and a lot of fun! Zildjian were kind enough to give us both a bunch of their new EFX range for 2015 in cluding the 10′ and 12′ spiral stackers,8′, 10′ and 12′ Oriental chinas and the new Zil-bel. We had a blast shedding with these new sounds. Check back in a month or so for the release of our video. We had Dan Kelaart from Grafete Studios come out and film/record the clip at my local Aesthetic Studios (where i teach from).
